Compton Little Theatre does not charge a membership fee.  All we ask is that if you are successful in auditioning for a show, you contribute a show fee, which is currently £5 per person with a maximum of £20 per family.  Auditions are open to anyone, whether you have been part of a show before or not (except in exceptional circumstances)

We generally perform three times a year with the addition of the occasional local festival performance, and rehearsals are on a Sunday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.  We have just recently finisheda joint venture with Watts Gallery, Freshwater a play reading at Watts Gallery which was on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th March 2017.

Our expected summer production for 2017 has had to be cancelled due to a clash with a professional touring company who are performing the same play in our area in June.  Therefore we have been unable to secure the necessary licences.  With that in mind, the committee have decided not to try and rush through another production which may not meet our normal high standards, and we will next be performing between 5th - 7th October 2017 for our annual dinner drama.

There are many ways to get involved in a CLT show, whether on stage, backstage, front of house etc.  The Committee have put together some guidelines which we encourage you to read at least once!  These give information specifically about how CLT works and are not exhaustive, but will give guidance if you haven’t done a role before.  There is even a section for actors!  This document can be downloaded here:
